The Community Catalyst Leadership Program is an innovative new leadership development program designed specifically for members of the junior class which will provide the processes and frameworks needed to be a successful leader.

CCLP Schedule for 2009-2010

Application deadline was on Monday, September 21, 2009.
Believe it or not, you have time for this!

The commitment is low and the return is high! Here’s a tentative timeline for the program:

October 3: Program Kick-off Conference and introduction of coaches 10 AM–4 PM at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge, 575 Memorial Dr.

October: Students meet individually with assigned coach to create a personal developmental plan. Optional Workshop: How to get the most out of a coaching relationship.

November: Optional alumni networking dinner. Second meeting with coach.

December: Speaker/Workshop for all student participants. Students encouraged to connect individually with coach.

January/February: Students meet with assigned coach.

February: Student participants attend one of two educational workshops offered during the month of February.

February 16: Community Catalyst Dinner with President Hockfield at Gray House for the students, alumni coaches, and honored guests.

April: Students encouraged to connect individually with assigned coach. Optional "Forum Dinners" in small groups of 10.

May: Students complete a one-page final reflection paper. Students recognized at the annual Student Leaders Awards.

Deadline for online application to the Community Catalyst Leadership Program was 12 noon on September 21, 2009. Invitations to participate will be sent to 50 students who represent MIT’s diverse living groups, departments, teams, organizations, student groups, etc. for the pilot year of this program.
Only members of the Class of 2011 are eligible to participate in the 2009-2010 program.
